Night out with friends, good food and drinks, live bands, these are just some of the things I thought I would outgrow in no time after graduating college to explore the so-called-dreaded “real adult life”, the very thing we were warned about. I thought wrong. Our visit to the press/bloggers night of Jet 7 Bistro located along Timog Ave. in Quezon City made me realized that these things that made my college days all the more exciting and well worth remembering are still the same things that could well, make me happy.
I love places like that. Those places that reminds me of the happy past and still makes me giddy this present times. After all, don’t we all love good food and good times? That night, Jet 7 Bistro got me covered.
The media launch of Jet 7 Bistro, a new restaurant that just opened March of this year to join the ever growing number of restaurants in Timog Ave. area prompted me with the fact that although I have sometimes exhausted myself in trying out different restaurants all for the love of writing and my work, there are still so much to explore and reconsider (i.e. live bands, especially those you adore makes dining experience downright pleasantly unforgettable.)
I could go on and on at how some funny cosmic epiphany about reviving my love for going out at night time with friends to listen to live bands and feast on good food and drinks was presented to me that night but that perhaps merits its own post when I revisit Jet 7 Bistro again. Meanwhile, let’s talk about the media night where we also had a chance to meet some cool people behind Jet 7 Bistro.
Media people were introduced to Jet 7 Bistro's Brand Ambassador Luigi C. Nunez, President and CEO of Global Beer Zero Inc. and the two talented chefs Chris Cordero and Bobby Ignacio. All through the night, when the radio wasn't bustling with impressive track list, we were serenaded by love bands which includes Art & Soul Band featuring Lloyd Zaragoza, Joshua Desiderio (that amazingly talented vocalist/keyboardist guy from the Freestyle band), and Nikka.
I tell you, this Art & Soul band is downright amazing! They made our visit at Jet 7 Bistro all the more fun, relaxing, and just worth it. They played slow jams and RNB all through the night we were there. When they played John Legend's All of Me, I must say I died a little. They play at Jet 7 Bistro every Thursday night, go and visit them, you'll know my reason for raving.
Of course, the media night would not be complete without Jet 7 Bistro showcasing some of their food they are most proud of. The night started with free flow of red and white wine, and some ceviche to whet our appetites.
Freshly baked in-house, Jet 7 Bistro's Herbed Bread was definitely the best dinner roll I have ever tasted, to be honest. It has that slightly crunch for its outer crust and a knee-weakening softness inside. It goes perfectly well with butter, balsamic, and roasted garlic, but even without these things, it was good on its own because of its innate flavor that came from herbs it was infused with.
I cannot count how many "fair shares" I have had the entire night, but let me tell you, this bread deserve more than one photo in this blog post because I love it that much.
We were also served with Herb Roasted Chicken and BBQ Beef Ribs. These two were impressive especially the beef dish which has the tenderness I love in meat and a flavor that made it well worth the calories. I must say that these two were also good reason to come back at Jet 7 Bistro.
Then we were served the French Cut Rib Eye Steak, a 28 oz. USDA Angus steak tagged by many as Cowboy Steak. Best enjoyed while hot with manly appetite because of its size that can easily feed a group of three.
For the dessert, they served us a beauty in a glass, Strawberry Sabayon.
Jet 7 Bistro gave off that impression that it is all about having good times over good food and great company. Add to that an impressive interior peppered with black and red hue and live bands during night time to make the dining experience all the more unforgettable.

So, if you are up for good times and all things happy, there's Jet 7 Bistro along Timog Ave in Quezon City to provide you with exactly that. I myself was impressed by its vibe that it made me promise my self to go back again to try some of the food in the menu and hopefully feature it here on my blog. The fact that they feature live bands is also a plus since that is one thing I am missing right now since I started working. Jet 7 Bistro suggests it is high time to go out there once again not just to try new restaurants but have a great overall experience while in the process.
I guess I'll see you all there one of these days. And oh, Art & Soul Band every Thursday night, okay?
