Burger Company PH Got You Covered This International Burger Day

Truth be told, the Burger Company in Quezon City is one of my favorite local burger restaurants in Manila. It’s always on top three of my list whenever I am being asked for best burger place recommendation. For those who have already tried Burger Company’s burger offerings and then some, I am pretty sure you could understand why. 

But just for the record, let me say it straight, they are one of those that serve the best burgers in Manila.

So while I am working on food research for a writing project that requires me to visit the Burger Company, I figured it’s also the best time to check out their latest offerings especially that the International Burger Day (May 28) is already on the horizon.

I am not going to beat around the bush here as I am too excited to share with you Burger Company's schedule for the International Burger Day celebration before I share you the food I have feasted on during my visit. Here it goes:

Now, back to my project research a.k.a. Feast at Burger Company PH. 

Since the last time I wrote about Burger Company PH two years go, there are numbers of new items that's been added on the menu. Creativity is one of Burger Company's strongest suit aside from their deep commitment for dishing high quality food, hence, I expected that the new additions were as impressive as the ones I have already tried way back. They did not disappoint.

I was able to try two of the burgers which was part Burger Company's previously held Mystery Burger event namely Holy Guacamole and Peking Ducked. These two will also be part of their Not So Mystery Burger Festival for the International Burger Day, although servings will be dished out in burger slider portion.

The Holy Guacamole Burger (Php275/single patty, Php400/double patty) is essentially made up of Angus Beef Patty, Lettue, Tomato, Corn Fritter, Guacamole, Chipotle, Sour Cream, Chicharones, and Cilantro. 

I am a big fan of avocado in general, so having guacamole as the main star of this burger dish alongside the Angus beef patty is a big plus. But I tell you, my happiness didn't just stopped there because the corn fritter which portion can rival the patty was equally delightful.

The Peking Ducked Burger (Php235/single patty, Php360/double patty) on the other hand consists of Angus Beef patty, Lettuce, Tomato, Cucumber, Bacon Wonton, Crispy Wonton Wrapper, Hoisin Sauce, and Leeks.

This burger surprised me the most as I have not thought the possibility of enjoying the flavor of a Peking Duck in a burger form. One bite and you would know that it was a work of genius. The way the flavor of the dusk and the texture of its crisp skin has been translated in Burgers Company's own rendition is just downright amazing.

Another new product that will be launched on May 28th is the O Bacon Me Crazy! which is basically Bacon-Wrapped Fried Oreos topped with Vanilla Ice Cream. These babies were presented to me coupled with several delicious concoctions such as the apple campote, banana caramel, and the regular one.

I can sense that there will be too many food enthusiasts ( I am looking at you Pickiest Eater, Tummy Traveler, and Chuckie Dreyfus, you guys!) will be so happy feasting on these little bits of heaven!

Aside from the items which are expected to make the International Burger Day at Burger Company PH special, I also enjoyed other items on the menu such as the Buffalo Trax (Php70/solo, Php145/sharing, Php210/party) which is coated crisscut fries tossed in mild buffalo spices.

The Homemade Bacon Dippers (Php180/regular, Php265/sharing) is another revelation during my visit. If pork rinds and bacon hooked up, Homemade Bacon Dippers is the byproduct. It is supposed to be served with cheese sauce but its unavailability that time introduces me to the equally great companion - the vinegar.

I swear it was one of the best things I have ever eaten this year by far.

For the burgers we tried The Gamer's Burger (Php300) which is made up of Bacon-Stuffed Angus Beef Patty, Lettuce, Tomato, Cheese Slice, Bacon-Wrapped Fries, and Cheese Sauce. I only have good words about this burger because it was really good. I mean, what's not to love in something that boasts of Angus Beef Patty stuffed with Bacon?

I also had the aptly called Volcano Burger (Php240/single patty, Php365/double patty, Php465 /triple patty and double toppings) as the appearance mimic that of a volcano spewing lava. This towering goodness comprised of Angus Beef Patty, Lettuce, Tomato, Cheese Slice, Bacon, Onion Ring Tower, and Chipotle Aioli.

Of course, the feast would not be complete without Burger Company's own drink concoctions. Highly recommended are the Flavored sodas (Php70) and the Soda Float (Php130).
