Signature Cheese Tart and Cheese Tart Baked with Oreo - these are the two new products of Uncle Tetsu Sweet Shop. Known for its delicious Japanese Cheesecake, Uncle Tetsu has been making a wave in other Asian countries such as Taiwan, Singapore, and China. Upon opening its store in the Philippines, it immediately captured the hearts of many with its own version of Japanese Cheesecake and other products.
With the introduction of their Signature Cheese Tart and Cheese Tart Baked with Oreo, Uncle Tetsu is on a roll in making a mark in Manila's Food Scene.
If you are a fan of Japanese Cheesecake like I am, chances are you have probably heard if not tasted Uncle Tetsu. With several branches within the Metro, it is really impossible to miss this awesome store especially that most of their branches is always crowded with people wanting to get their hands on their product.
It was only recently that I had a chance to try their Japanese Cheesecake and it immediately climbed on the top of my list of Best Cheesecakes in Manila. If you know how Uncle Tetsu tastes like, you would probably understand me. Japanese Cheesecake is known for its light and airy texture as compared to the usual cheesecake. While I love dense cheesecake variant, I find Uncle Tetsu very easy to love since despite its light texture, the flavor is simply astounding.
There are other products that Uncle Tetsu is currently dishing out in the market aside from their cheesecakes. These include mini cheesecake variant, cheesecake toast, cake roll, pastry puff, and now the cheese tarts.
Uncle Tetsu Signature Cheese Tart is essentially made up of delicious flaky pie crust filled with creamy cheese filling. I tell you, I have had several cheese arts in the past and I even get to make some at home on good days but Uncle Tetsu's Signature Cheese Tart is by far the best one I have had. The cheesy flavor is very apparent and the sweetness is not at all cloying.
Another variant is Uncle Tetsu's Cheese Tarte Baked with Oreo. Oreo lovers will definitely rejoice for this treat because the combination of cheese and Oreo cookies is definitely one of the most celebrated food combinations. The comforting goodness of Oreo cookies surely made this treat more lovable than it already is.
The Signature Cheese Tart is priced for only Php275 (15.5cm in diameter)
and is also available in mini version for only Php49 per piece and
Php180 for box of four. The Cheese Tart Baked with Oreo on the other hand is priced for only Php325.
Placed in an aluminum foil which comes with free plastic knife in every order, one may enjoy these cheese tarts simply by removing the pie from its container and reheating it in the oven. Or if you don't mind dealing with some beautiful mess, you may just scoop the cheesy filling straight out from the pan. Whichever which you choose to eat it, it is guaranteed that you will enjoy it.
Uncle Tetsu Signature Cheese Tart and Cheese Tart Baked with Oreo is available at all Uncle Tetsu Branches indicated below this post or you may visit their booth at SM North The Block Atrium as they are currently participating at The Cheescake Festival.
So if you fancy a cheese delectable treat, I suggest that you try Uncle Tetsu Signature Cheese Tart and Cheese Tart Baked with Oreo because at one bite, you would know that it is worth the calories. After all, you know you deserve something fun and delicious all at the same time.
