Max's Restaurant 70th Anniversary #HBDMaxs #ChickenLove #MaxsFriedChicken @maxsrestaurant

Max's Restaurant, “The House That Fried Chicken Built” and the home of Sarap-to-the-Bones Fried Chicken celebrates its 70th Anniversary this year. 70 long years, they have been in the business, making history and creating memories with Filipino families.

With staying power such as that, and the ability to cross boarders to share their well-loved fried chicken alongside other dishes which are very Filipino to the core, Max's Restaurant made us proud to be Filipino. Indeed, they are already part of our history.

Max's Restaurant 70th Anniversary Celebration Party
I am glad to be part of this event so despite the schedule I made it a point to set some time for this celebration. After all, I grew up loving this restaurant. I myself have some awesome memories with max's Restaurant hence, I am more than happy to share this milestone with them.

Max's Anniversary was held at Max's Restaurant in Quezon City
I cannot count how many times have I written about Max's Restaurant here on the blog. As a matter of fact, they are one of the first restaurants which events I attended to during my early days of blogging. And prior to that, Max's Restaurant is one of those which has become part of family celebrations we had since I was a child and even when my parents were all just children.

My parents used to celebrate their anniversaries as boyfriend and girlfriend at Max's Restaurant. My college graduation dinner, I celebrated at Max's. So, being part of Max's 70th Anniversary was pretty surreal.

You cannot sum up 70 awesome years in one go, but that night at Max's, we all looked back as to how it all began. It was very nostalgic and enjoyable. I am a sucker for history and vintage stuff, so it was a bit overwhelming. With that, let me give you a photo essay of some of the highlights that night we celebrated Max's Restaurant 70th anniversary.

Serenading Max's Restaurant Guests
The night was filled with lovely music courtesy of the very impressive string quartet that night. Inside the Ruby Hall where the celebration was held sat in the middle some sort of modern museum that showcased Max's Restaurant memorabilia from yesteryears.

Speaking of Isabel Oli, she was there too with her husband, John Pratts.

Of course, there are some celebrity sightings. And can I just say that Say Alonso is freaking gorgeous? Always smiling and not snobbish at all. Her son is adorable too. Seriously, she should star one of Max's Restaurant TVC. Just saying.
