There are a lot of imported products in the grocery shelves nationwide but new ones are always a welcome addition especially for those who are adventurous enough to try new things. After all, although it is always a noble pursuit to support local products, we still have the liberty to explore other things which may satisfy our needs and wants regardless of its origin.

So I have tried each of these items and I find them impressive enough to merit a space here on the blog. These imported beers in particular, is a welcome respite from the usual.

The Chang Beer, which originated in Thailand, as mentioned, I am already well acquainted with. I first tried it at Four Seasons Hot Pot Buffet and fell in love with it from the get go. The Bavaria Beer of Holland on the other hand was also impressive - a tad stronger than Chang. Now the strongest of the three is the El Diablo Beer of U.S. that boasts of 12% alcohol content - a can knocked me out, I tell you.

Potato Chips lovers rejoice because Mister Potato Crisps which is a tad less expensive than its famous counterpart is now also in the Philippines market. I tried the cheese and original flavor and I find it good as well. Definitely less saltier than what I am used to, which is a good thing. I believe this is a Malaysian brand.

Now the Deka Wafer Roll on the other hand, is an Indonesian product which is pretty popular among kids and kids-at-heart. It can be liken to our local Champola and is available in different flavors such as Cheese and Cheese, Choco Nut, ChocoChoco, Milk Vanilla, and Choco Banana.

These imported goodies distributed by Linkage Food Products are all available at leading Supermarkets. I have checked them out during my recent trip to the grocery and noticed that their prices are reasonable and somehow affordable than its counterparts.
