This Valentine's Season 2016, Project Pie Philippines will be rolling out their Eats A Date promo from the 6th of this month up to the 29th. This promo which is priced at Php695 only is a perfect treat for your significant other, friends, and loved ones.
Project Pie PH is known for their built-your-own artisan pizza. From the time they opened to this day, Project Pie PH already boasts of 12 branches and still counting. This promo will be rolled out in all of their branches.
I visited Project Pie SM Megamall branch recently for a preview of their Valentines Promo and to check out some of their offerings.
When talking about artisan pizza, there are a lot to be had at Project Pie PH. Diners can make their own pizza depending on their preferences and they can also choose from the Project Pie Masterpizzas - a selection of pizza variety that Project Pie themselves concocted.
Customizing your own food, especially pizza if you are a pizza lover like myself, is a whole lotta fun. And I am going to go on that towards the later part of this blog post. For now, let us talk about their Valentines promo.
So, what comprised Project Pie PH's Eats A Date promo, you asked.
First, there's an option between a lite Caesar Salad and a heavy Primo Meatball Pasta.
If you are trying to keep indulgence at bay, (a good call when you're in a romantic date, don't you think?) the lite Caesar Salad can be a good option. Project Pie's regular version of this salad calls for some meat thrown in the mix. But in this promo, the word lite is given emphasis since it has everything a good Caesar Salad has, sans the meat.
Next is the 2-in-1 Pizza. 2 flavors in one pie. Since we are talking about Project Pie here, diners have the liberty to build their own 2 flavored pizza in one pie. On the other hand, there is also an option to choose from the Masterpizzas on the menu like I did.
I opted for half of Richie which comprised of pepperoni, Italian sausage, crumbled meatballs, mozzarella, garlic, and red sauce. The other half was the Woody, also known as the BBQ Pie since it comprised of grilled chicken, cilantro, gorgonzola, mozzarella, sliced red onion, and bbq sauce. Both variants are one of their best sellers and rightfully so. I did not regret my choices.
Then there's also the limited Ferrero Smores Pie. Project Pie's is also known for their downright delightful Smores Pie, I haven't met anyone who doesn't like it yet. For this promo, they throw in three Ferrero chocolate on top, so you can expect that chocolate madness will ensue.
I love Ferrero to the core, so this one sits well with me.
Lastly, included in this promo are two refillable drinks or local beers. There are plenty of options for drinks and beers at Project Pie. The refillable streak in the promo adds another reason why this promo is a bang for your buck.
For only Php695.00, Project Pie's Eats A Date Valentines Promo is really worth it in my opinion. The salad serving is good enough for two especially if there are pies on the horizon. The 2 flavored pizza is also a good call since variety is always good when it comes to dining. And that Ferrero Smores Pizza, what's not to love about it? Plus, refillable drinks, hey.
As mentioned, there's a lot to be had at Project Pie. Since I opted for the Masterpizzas creation for my 2 in 1 pizza, I went for the very thing why Project Pie came to be - the built-your-own-pizza.
A lot has been said and written about the process in which you can create your own artisan pizza at Project Pie. But if you have not poked around it yet, here is the drill.
Friendly food attendants will assist you in creating your pizza, all you have to do is to tell them which items would you like to have on your pie. The choices are neatly laid by the open kitchen.
First, choose your base. There's an option between oil base and red sauce base. If you can't decide, order two and try it both. That's what I did and I still cannot decide which one I prefer to this day because I love both.
Next, choose thy cheese. Options include mozzarella, feta, parmesan, ricotta, and gorgonzola.
Then, choose your meat toppings to which there are plenty. During my visit, options include prosciutto, grilled chicken, bacon, anchovies, Canadian bacon, pepperoni, crumbled meatballs, and Italian sausage.
Non-meat toppings are also aplenty such as tomatoes, pineapple, fresh mushroom, roasted broccoli, red onion, green peppers, roasted corn kernels, caramelized onions, roasted red peppers, jalapenos, garlic, black olive, artichoke, chopped basil, cilantro, and rosemary.
After cooking toppings options include bbq sauce, pesto, egg, cracked pepper, and olive oil.
After creating your masterpiece, the attendant will then bake your pie and all you have to do is to pay for it on the counter then wait for your masterpiece.
My first creation was some of the basic stuff I want in my pizza. There were mozzarella, ricotta, prosciutto, bacon, caramelized onion, and green bell pepper with red based sauce. It was a meaty pie, a good mixture of savory and sweet flavor.
For the other pie, I decided to go for something I would still like despite skipping on meat. This one which surprisingly ended as my favorite among the bunch comprised of mozzarella, feta, gorgonzola, fresh mushroom, artichoke, and basil in oil based sauce.it was lighter than the other pie but still very satisfying. I wouldn't mind creating this again on my next visit.
There is also a create-your-own-salad on Project Pie's menu which I am looking forward to trying out next time.
Eats A Date Valentines Promo at Project Pie PH will run from February 6 to February 29 only. Personally, I find this promo a great deal considering the price and the item inclusion. So if you are looking for a place to bring your loved ones this Valentines season, I suggest you consider this offer because it is worth it.
