I have stayed at F1 Hotel Manila for a number of times already - some with our KTG group for blogger staycation, some with my family for bonding times, and some with my friends for those nights when everyone rendered themselves useless manning the wheels after party at BGC area. With those stays I must say that F1 Hotel Manila is really a Home of Happy Experiences.
In line with their 4th Anniversary, F1 Hotel Manila is currently having an Anniversary Gift Certificate Sale Promo. The promo is only up until April 15 and we are talking about up to 60% discount for hotel stay and dining, so be sure not to miss this chance.
And to let you see how awesome staying and dining at F1 Hotel Manila is, I am sharing with you the account of our recent staycation at F1 Hotel Manila with my KTG Family. As with all staycation blog posts here at YedyLicious, this one is photo heavy and a it personal, so read when you have ample free time and towards the end of this post, details about the Anniversary Sale promo will be included.
Our weekend staycation at F1 Hotel Manila commenced with the traditional meet up at F1 Hotel's Premiere Lounge located at the Fifth floor. Same level where the lobby and guests' check-in / check-out area is located. Same level where the beautiful Cobonpue's Yoda Chairs are in sight for guests to feast their eyes on and experience.
F1 Hotel Manila's Marketing Manager Twinkle Lacsamana welcomed our group at the Premier Lounge. After feasting on coffee, tea, other refreshments, and some baked goods that the hotel staff prepared at the lounge, we were then billeted to our respective rooms.
As mentioned, I have stayed at F1 Hotel for a number of times already but this particular visit I must say was the most relaxing and enjoyable one. I am guessing it has something to do with the fact that I do not have a roommate this time around. Now don't get me wrong. I am fine having a roommate but I am a big chatter that instead of enjoying a peaceful and relaxing stay, more often than not, it always ended up as a slumber party.
So this stay when I have the room all to myself, was indeed a peaceful and relaxing one - the best stay I had at F1 Hotel as of yet.
I was assigned The Fort Suite - by far my favorite room when staying at F1 Hotel. It is basically the same room I had during my previous F1 Hotel staycation with The KTG which I have blogged about here. The only difference is the floor plan.
The living room is sleek and minimalist albeit very functional. There's a flat screen TV affixed on the wall and the sofa and chairs are all comfortable.
There's also a minibar and mini ref at the living room. Usual complimentary stuff like coffee, teas, sugar, creamer, and water is still ever present. And of course, an impressive number of storage spaces which I love about F1 Hotel.
The room boasts of plush King bed that is really comfortable to sleep in. Everything is clean and well maintained. Subtle fresh scent of clean fabric was nice as well that I did not even bother to spray my usual Lavander bed spray scent like I normally would when I am about to sleep.
There's also a flat screen TV inside the bedroom alongside the functional workspace. Back at home, I have a self-implemented policy of no television inside the room so I am used to having just books and sometimes my laptop as a form of entertainment. So when staying in a hotel, I am giving myself a liberty to indulge hence viewing time while lounging on the bed is a welcome respite.
Despite having enough storage and cabinets which can double as a closet at the living room, there is still one inside the bedroom where the usual hotel closet stuff is located such as the bathrobes, safety box, iron and board, hangers, and sleepers.
The bathroom although devoid of a tub is still equipped with necessary things that one may need during a hotel stay including F1 Hotel Manila's branded toiletries.
Right after checking into our room and resting for a bit, our group headed at F All Day Dining Restaurant for lunch.
As always, there are plenty of dishes curated by the F&B staff headed by F1 Hotel's Executive Chef Decker Gokioco who is still as friendly and as talented as I remember him from previous dining affairs. While Chef Decker remains to be the Rockstar behind the buffet at F All Day Dining Restaurant, the Superstar of the buffet spread is the gorgeous Lechon stuffed with Dinuguan Rice.
The lunch was a delicious grand affair and it didn't surprised me that the restaurant is filled with guests and walk-in diners to experience the impressive buffet spread offerings.
Right after lunch we had a free time and was scheduled to meet come dinner time. Some of us took the liberty to lounge at the pool side from some catching up. After, we headed back to our rooms for a relaxing afternoon nap. In my case however, it's time to catch up with some of the series I haven't seen while enjoying my lovely room. My best buddies Euge and Gio introduced me to yet another series, so there goes my afternoon.
Ladies and gents, Tom Ellis. Yas!
Come dinner time, we were ushered by the Poolside for some fun activities. This stay is actually planned for the kids since there were some Easter egg hunt and film showing activities prepared for our group. Since I am somehow a kid-at-heart, I joined the fun.
Here's Baby Rain, the beautiful daughter of The Pickiest Eater and Rina's Rainbow with her loots from the Easter Egg Hunt activity. She's one gorgeous kid, I tell you. So gorgeous that I can hear Richie's heart palpitating at the mere thought of her daughter entering her teenage years!
After the happenings at the pool side, we were then led to the Premiere Lounge for our dinner buffet and then some.
At the Premier Lounge, the feast awaits us. There were great variations of food lovingly prepared by Chef Decker and his staff. Forced of habit lured me into checking out the seafood dishes which were aplenty. But the Salted Chicken Wings just stole my heart.
The star of the buffet spread however was the Prime Rib Roast. Rightfully so, since the dish was perfectly executed one can feast on this alone and be a happy camper. It's a legit rice thief, but salad goes well with it as well to strike a balance on guilt.
Right after the dinner, more catching up ensued. I haven't seen some of my KTG Family for the longest time hence it was a perfect night spent chatting with them.
There's also a film showing at the lounge which both the kids and their parents seemed to enjoy.
So where was I during the film showing, you ask.
At the other side of the lounge, sipping cocktails, of course.
Indeed, F1 Hotel Manila is Home of Happy Experiences, I couldn't agree more!
As the night wore on, we headed back to our respective rooms and called it a day. I spent sometime lounging in my web while watching Gag Concert at KBS - yep, I totally dig Korean humor. Running Man is also one of those downright hilarious Korean variety shows I enjoy immensely. Stress reliever, if I may add.
I was also scheduled for a in-room body massage which was a perfect way to end the night.
The morning after, I woke up and after preparing my stuff, I meet up with the group at F1 All Day Dining for our breakfast buffet. I was scheduled for a late check out just like everybody else in our group but I wasn't able to push through with that plan since I suddenly needed to be at the airport that morning.
So the breakfast at F was one busy affair as I try my best to dine with almost every one of my friends. I changed table three times since we were seated quite away from one another because the restaurant was jam packed that morning. Nonetheless, it was an exciting morning - one of the many reasons why I love doing what I am doing with the people I consider my friends in this community.
The icing on top of the proverbial cake - the amazing breakfast food we all heartily feasted on.
F1 Hotel Manila has been the second home of our little group, The KTG. You may say that I am biased when I say that they got one of the best services here in Manila but let me tell you that even if I am staying at F1 Hotel as a regular guest, not just a guest blogger, I still get the same impressive service known for F1 Hospitality. And I know that even my friends and family who have stayed at F1 Hotel could attest to that.
So, as always, F1 Hotel Manila is still one of my highly recommended hotels when pressed for opinion. And with that, I am happy to share with you the details of the on-going Anniversary Sale Promo at F1 Hotel.
