Nope, we are not yet done sharing milk tea brand discoveries here on the blog despite the bouts of rain we are getting lately, nope. Especially when I haven't shared with you yet a recent milk tea shop which saved the day and made me happy when all other milk tea big names tagged my place as out of coverage for delivery.
I am talking about Sugar and Tea Milktea. And when in Rizal, specifically Antipolo and upper Angono, this is something you might want to try when trying to curb that milk tea cravings.
I have mentioned Sugar and Tea Milktea in my previous blog post about the food and drinks which I have tried while we are in the quarantine period. I know most of you my dear readers are crazy about milk tea, so let's go dive deep about this recent discovery.
Sugar and Tea is one of the local milk tea shops here in Rizal that serves variety of milk tea, frappe, and other drinks. They have a cute shop located in Milagros Subdivision Brgy. Dalig in Antipolo City. They can be booked for events such as birthday parties, corporate events, and even weddings - yes, cool weddings offer milk tea these days, I've witnessed a lot, trust me!
Just like most milk tea shops, Sugar and Tea offers various drinks and then some. They have choices for The Classic Black Sugar Milk Tea, Premium and Cream Mousse Series, Frappes, Fruit Tea, Yogurt Series, and they also have the option for add on sinkers and toppings.
If you have been around the blog for a while, you know how crazy I am when it comes to cream cheese and milk tea combination. It just hold the bliss for me. So, most of the drinks we got are from their Premium and Cream Mousse Series. It didn't promise a thick, rich, and in-your-face cream cheese on top kind-of-euphoria but theirs are as close as it can get - and it made me a happy camper.
First one I have tried was the Oreo Cream Cheese which boast of creamy milk tea mixed with crushed bits of Oreo and cream on top. They didn't scrimp on the Oreo hence, this one, I am guessing would be a sure winner for Oreo lovers. Their Dark Choco Mousse was one of my favorites. It wasn't too sweet but it wasn't bland either. It was actually my last option upon placing the order and I'm glad my sister talked me into it because it was yummy!
The Black Charcoal Winter Mousse got the same flavor that the well-loved wintermelon milk tea has, but it's made all the more aesthetically pleasing with the addition of charcoal that lends a mysterious effect to the drink at a glance. The Choco Rocky Road Frappe on the other hand tasted just like melted chocolate rocky road ice cream during my childhood days. It brought so much nostalgia and I love it for that.
My favorite among the ones I have tried was hands down, their S&T Black Sugar Milk with Pearls. Have I mentioned here in any of my milk tea blog posts that I am not so crazy about pearls? I almost always request to omit it in my drinks whenever I have a chance. But it's a different story with Sugar and Tea. Their pearls were so soft and tender to the bite, it gives off a freshly cooked tapioca vibe to it. It goes perfectly well with the creamy milk tea that carries sweet punches brought about by the sugar on the pearl. It was divine - and Instagrammable too, if I may add.
Truth be told, I can say that we are not yet passed with the milk tea craze phase. And all things considered, it might have actually etched its place in our culture too. So it is likely not to be forgotten anytime soon. As long as there are still amazing milk tea shops like Sugar and Tea popping everywhere, trust that we, milk tea lovers, will still get our hands on our beloved drink.
With these, my dear readers, when craving for milk tea, may I suggest for you to try and give some love to Sugar and Tea Milktea because I know for sure, you will end up appreciating them as well.
